Recipe for Peppermint Oreo Bark

At this time of year, I always keep some easy handmade gift ideas handy. With more and more dates planned with friends and family leading up to Christmas, it’s essential that I bring something along (in addition to our bottle of mulled wine!), such as our Peppermint Oreo Bark recipe that always goes down a treat – only three ingredients required and super fast and simple to create!

Ingredients: 24 ounces of white chocolate chips

Roughly chop 10 Oreo cookies and 1 1/2 Cup Peppermints and crush until fine.

Make Peppermint Oreo Bark
Prepare a baking sheet by covering it with parchment paper.

Melt half of the white chocolate chips in your microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring well in between each one. My microwave takes three 30 second cycles for this step.

Pour the white chocolate onto a sheet of parchment paper and spread into an even layer.

Layer a single layer of Oreo cookies on top of white chocolate for an impressive treat!

Melt the remaining half of white chocolate chips by taking 30 second intervals to do it.

Pour remaining chocolate over oreos and spread evenly – there’s no need to be perfect here.

Refrigerate your festive oreo bark for at least two hours until its chocolate has set completely.

Break off 3-inch pieces, wrap in festive cellophane and give as a handmade present!
