I can hardly believe it, but here I am again with another Christmas Gingerbread Gift Guide to present to you. While I love gingerbread year-round, nothing beats its aroma at Christmastime!
Gingerbread is an umbrella term that applies to baked goods typically flavored with ginger, cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon. My personal favourites are biscuits; however, today you can find any number of options with gingerbread flavors!
I’ve curated this year a gift basket full of gingerbread-related gifts, such as gingerbread house kits and biscuits. As part of my holiday tradition, I will build the gingerbread house kits over time and post updates here so you can see how they turned out!
Christmas Gingerbread Gift Guide
As someone with an affinity for gingerbread-themed items, I was drawn to this whimsical gingerbread hand wash dispenser, which can easily be refilled and used again and again.
My favourite gingerbread house mug comes from Poundland; its lid can be quickly and easily taken on or off to keep hot beverages hotter for longer.
At first sight, this charming gingerbread man planter in the Co-op was hard to resist! Currently it contains an attractive red kalanchoe plant which is an extremely popular indoor houseplant.

Gingerbread House Kits One of my first purchases this year was Sainsbury’s Make Your Own Gingerbread House Kit. At an excellent value, this will provide hours of fun-filled entertainment. Simply supply unsalted butter, golden syrup and water.
Gingerbread Craft Kits
When it comes to gingerbread themed crafts and kits at this time of year, I can’t resist their cute felt houses or sewing kits! There are lots of wonderful gingerbread themed crafts to do and there are even beautiful craft kits too – my personal favourite being MakeBox’s Sweet Treat Felt Wreath kit, featuring hand stitched and stuffed wool felt ornaments inspired by traditional gingerbread designs! They also provide kits such as Festive Gingerbread Man embroidery hoops (which feature adorable mini gingerbread men), pink Gingerbread House embroidery hoops (for houses), and wooden Gingerbread Garland!
Cotton Clara makes fun contemporary cross stitch kits and this Christmas House Small Hoop Cross-Stitch kit was one that I really enjoyed stitching.
Pixels & Purls’ Gingerbread House Embroidery Kit features six stitches printed directly onto fabric (something I really appreciate!). Plus, there are red or green versions so it will match perfectly with any Christmas decor!
Gingerbread biscuits These mini gingerbread men make for the ideal festive snack and will pair beautifully with any decadent hot chocolate drink. I may include one in my kids’ lunches in December too!
This adorable M&S Christmas Gingerbread Baubles Kit contains pre-baked gingerbread baubles complete with an icing tube and decorative embellishments to decorate and hang on your Christmas tree.
Gingerbread treats from Waitrose! I couldn’t resist their Christmas Nurnberger Lebkuchen selection of sugar glazed, chocolate covered and plain gingerbread rounds that come together into this festive pack of Nurnberger Lebkuchen treats.
McVitie’s Digestives seasonal editions such as these Gingerbread Milk Chocolate Digestives have been available for several years – alongside Christmas Pudding flavour and Mince Pie flavour – alongside traditional festive classics like Christmas Pudding flavoured digestives.
Last year we enjoyed Soreen gingerbread laves so much, I picked up another pack! Each package contains 5 mini loaves flavored in gingerbread flavor; all vegan-friendly and low in saturated fat for an ideal snacking option!
